What’s Happening at Church Radius?

It’s been a while since there has been an update to Church Radius or a post on this blog.  If you’re wondering what’s going on, I’ll let you in on some upcoming news:

1. There is an update coming soon with a fix for the problem reporting on date ranges, fund reports, and deleting donations.  I’m just waiting for some code to be checked in from the developer who did the latter two.
2. The main site is going to be updated to simplify navigation.
3. There is going to be an open source, host-it-yourself version of Church Radius and eventually the ability to move your data between the host-it-yourself version and the ChurchRadius.com hosted version.  The open source project will live at http://churchradius.org.
4. A wiki-based documentation project and discussion forums will follow the open source release.
